The Oconee Food Summit (OFS) is a grassroots initiative of Oconee County food movement leaders to organize food-related events. In the inaugural food summit and the events that have followed, the OFS team has sought to provide community members and stakeholders with the time and space to engage in productive discussions about local food system issues and collaborative solutions. While this has been the primary objective, OFS has also sought to provide networking, learning, and organizing opportunities to attendees.
